Hey there, I'm Shaz, the face behind Isla & Boe. A few years ago, I embarked on an unexpected journey into the world of entrepreneurship, armed with nothing but a heartfelt mission and a burning passion to make a difference in people's lives.

With 12 years of service as an ex-soldier, I never imagined myself diving headfirst into the realm of business. But life has a funny way of leading us down unexpected paths, and it was my own personal experiences that ultimately shaped the course of my journey.

In the midst of life's trials and tribulations, I encountered a profound moment of kindness that changed everything. After tragically losing my daughter, who was the twin sister of my 5-year-old, at just 18 days old, a compassionate nurse bestowed upon me a simple yet profound gift – a memory book.

In that moment, I realised the immense power of memories and the comfort they bring during life's most challenging moments. Inspired by this act of kindness, I felt compelled to share the gift of heartfelt sentiments with others, igniting the spark that would eventually lead to the birth of Isla & Boe
